Santana Glamping Park

The client's brief was to design a glamping park, in a site he bought in Madeira Island, Portugal. Also, part of the brief was to use off-site standard pvc geodesic domes, for the accomodation. The site itself, presented as the bigger challenge, and also opportunity. Challenge because it was incredible steepy and difficult in terms of acessibility within the site. Opportunity because the site topography allowed for amazing views to the sea, and the natural levels gave shelter and privacy to each dome.
The design was simple: parking area next to the road, a central access to the domes, down the hill, and a youga plataform on the bottom.
