The brief was use the existing vacant plot to place a new detached house. The site constrains and the policy, defined the footprint and the overall shape. The idea was to make a clever use of the site, maximizing the area through the design. The result was a 3 storey house, with some contemporary features, whilst being sympathetic with its context.
