NC House

I was appointed to develop a pre application scheme for a new house, in the Isle of Mull. The plot has one existing house, on the top, that the clients want to keep. The site dictated the design solution. The sharply inclined topography allowed us to a slope house proposal, embracing the existing landscape. At the same time, pushing the taller part of the building to one side, kept the central part low enough for the views to the lake to remain untouched for the existing building.
