The client bought the plot of land adjacent to their current house as they love the location - Long Island, New York, but their home doesn't suit their needs anymore. A renovation or extension of the current house wouldn't be enough, as they are keen on a contemporary design and a completely different layout organization. I was appointed to develop a scheme to meet their needs and expectations. The proposal is a very direct translation of their brief, adjusted to the local characteristics of the site.
