KM House

The client's brief was a 2-storey contemporary house with a swimming pool. The proposal is highly influenced by Kenya's climate and local materials. The site itself, also played a major role as to the house placement, keeping the existing local trees as much as possible and move the building to the back of the plot, using the best sunlight to its advantage, controlling the openings to avoid overheating, whilst letting the light flow through the house.
